NO RUNNING AND GUNNING!
Standing while running and firing without aiming at the same time is considered running and gunning, and is not allowed. It is only acceptable to run defensively (such as when under fire or when crossing exposed, open areas from building to building). Running inside a building is not allowed. If your footsteps can be heard, you are running.
Running around with no regard of being killed is not allowed. Running around upright with the sprint key engaged and blasting off shells for no reason (except for attention) is not acceptable behavior and will get you removed from the server.
Running to exact revenge upon a player who killed you is not allowed. Stalking (sneaking back, crouched, slowly) to exact revenge is, well, revenge. This IS allowed!
SPAWN KILLING WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.
If you kill players spawning in your field of fire, you are violating this rule. Players spawning near you is inevitable. If you see it and he/she takes aim at you, then by all means defend yourself. Otherwise, give them a chance to look around, move and take cover.
Spawn Tripwires - If you intentionally set tripwires at known spawn points (or if you should have known), you are subject to disciplinary action!
Tripwires should only be used DEFENSIVELY! Setting tripwires to gather random kills is discouraged. They were intended for a sniper to use to cover his back. Putting a tripwire behind the wall in Pavlov or inside a pillbox are clearly not being placed to protect your back, and more to get a random point and is NOT ACCETABLE! If these are found, you are subject to disciplinary action!
Type Killing is NOT an offense on our server! This is not a Chat room. If you feel the need to Chat you take it into your own hands. Find a good place to hide or go into spectate, but don't complain about type killing.
Going into Spectator mode and popping in and out of the game to see where everybody is for an easy kill, WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. This is a Banning Offense. If you get caught doing this or ie teleporting you WILL be banned on the spot!
Most of us have children and sometimes they watch. Bad language and offensive names are totally unacceptable. There is no reason for it. Holler it! Scream at your monitor! But if you type it, it may be the last thing you type on our server. This includes: Arguing, "putting down" other players, etc.
Blatant racial slurs... WILL NOT BE TOLERATED AT ALL! You may be given one or no warning, depending on the situation and offense.
For Offensive Names, you will be asked ONE TIME to change your name. If you do not comply within a reasonable period of time you WILL be kicked. If you come back and still do not change your name, YOU WILL BE BANNED.
Anyone caught flooding or advertising for another site WILL be kicked/banned.
Anyone "bad mouthing" RST (i.e. this server sucks, y'all are a bunch of p**sies, etc), YOU WILL BE BANNED!
Blatant chauvinistic/sexist remarks to a female player will not be tolerated! You will be given one warning and if you do not comply, you WILL be kicked/banned.
Recruiting on our server is prohibited. You can come in and play, you can invite us to play on your server. We will let you even try and set up a team challenge. But trying to recruit off the server is just plain rude and we will NOT tolerate it. This includes recruitment names (ie. ABC123 is the best server). You will be asked to change it once and then you will be kicked!
Using map glitches is cheating. If you can get into a spot that renders you invisible and/or invincible, but YOU can see and shoot other players, you are exploiting a map glitch. Many times there is no way to approach players in these locations without exposing yourself. Exploiting glitches will NOT be tolerated!
Mines are off for more playing room. This also means that more map glitches are opened up for use (refer to rule map glitches). There is plenty of playing area without having to exploit map glitches but it offers cover for movement. However if YOU are engaged while in one, say behind the trees in Rocket, then by all means defend yourself. But don't sit back there shooting people. If caught you will be terminated.
